Eco-Friendly
生態及環境保護

Shi Fu Miz is not only about music but it’s also about being aware about our surrounding. This year, we worked together with Green Is The New Black, a lifestyle media platform specialised in making sustainability mainstream around 3 pillars : Waste / Inspiration / Food

Some facts about our environmental impact. We’re a festival of 1,000 people. Usually, each festival goer drinks at least 2 water bottles at festivals. That means that with our 0 single use plastic policy, we’re already diverting 2,000 plastic bottles from going to landfills, hence into the oceans. Because we all know that plastic in the oceans comes from land.

  • Another initiative which makes not only environmental but economic sense is the collect of organic waste from festival goers and food vendors. Worldwide, there is ⅓ of the food produced which is being wasted. During festivals, we often see kilos of food in the trash So with our food waste collect, we will divert at least 10 kilos of food waste going to landfills.

  • We believe that partying and being green is possible. We also believe, that as individuals, music lovers, even party animals, we all have a responsibility into impacting ourselves, the others and mother nature to make our planet greener. We have to do it also if we want to continue to organise crazy festivals in beautiful, natural, wild surroundings.
